FROM CARD TO CUT

What CineSense does.

Copy and check locally

Recognise camera cards, copy videos and photos to two footage drives in one pass, and read each local destination back to compare the bytes. Copy is the default. Borrowed cards are never cleared.

The right shoot, kept together

Choose Latest shoot, Latest day, or Everything. File footage by the shooting day and keep continuous night shoots together across midnight. Footage outside your selection stays on the card.

A whole-card verdict

“Safe to format” considers the whole card and actual copies on mounted local drives. A checked selection does not make older uncopied footage safe. Inspect the copied videos, photos, and file count before formatting in your camera.

CineTransfer

Make another local copy of a drive, folder, or hand-picked selection using the same copy-and-check engine. Keep records beside the footage.

CloudSense

Send organised shooting folders to your own Storage Box/SFTP, Dropbox, Google Drive, Backblaze B2, or S3 account. Follow uploads from the menu bar. Per-file proof is labelled “read back by the server”, “server-confirmed”, or “handed over” with sizes only; large B2/S3 files can be labelled “every part checked by the service”. A cloud copy never makes a card safe to format. Upload speed depends on your internet’s upload connection to the service, often much slower than a local drive speed test.

Google Drive is optional. Files go directly from your Mac to your account, and Google shows the requested account permissions before you link it. Read the Google data and privacy details.

From version 2.134.0, CloudSense skips regenerable Converted/ and Proxies/ folders by default. A per-account option includes them when you want those derivatives uploaded too. Check the version installed on your Mac; this change is not in older betas.

DaVinci Resolve Studio handoff

Send a shooting day to the project you have open, with camera bins, colours, day keywords, optional stringouts, and Stacked timelines. Your files stay in your archive. See the Studio setup requirements.

Records and reports

Keep ASC MHL receipts, checksums, PDF and HTML reports, and local Transfer Logs. Review diagnostics before choosing whether to send them to support.

CineSearch: coming later

Search your archive by describing a shot, a moment of dialogue, or words in a frame. CineSearch and the optional on-device CineVision engine are in development and are not included in the public Mac beta.
